In the early 1900 a certain mr. Cnoll describe how visitors to The Caledon Spa covered their bodies with mud, dug a hole in the soil and bathed in the mineral rich water. Today we no longer dug holes, but we mimicke the ceremony with a full body exfoliation, a bath soak in mineral rich water and a mud wrap. A century later and the result is still the same.

African Wood Ceremony:

Drawing inspiration from the Old Oak Tree present as a reminder of our rich heritage, this massage includes the blends of light stretching techniques with specially designed body and facial wooden implements to relax and restore your weary body. Start your journey with a body cleansing ceremony beginning with a full body exfoliation, thereafter immersion in a luxurious bath treatment to relax the muscles in preparation of an indulging full body massage. Being drizzled with warm body butter will nourish and heal dry skin whilst experiencing blissful relaxation and rejuvenation.

Herbal Ceremony

Encompass our connection with nature and celebrating the circle of life. Small blocks of aroma infused Shea butter are placed on different areas of your body which will aid circulation, relax and clear areas of congestion. Experience the soothing warmth as the butter melts under your therapist's hands leaves you utterly relaxed and your skin nourished and hydrated. Included in this ceremony is a full body exfoliation and luxurious bath treatment.
